30 MW Proposal

Sun Miner has submitted a proposal to Arizona Public Service Company for a 30 Megawatt Solar Trough Power Plant that would start operation in the second quarter of 2008. The plant, known as the Hyder Valley Solar Project, would be located near the Maricopa-Yuma County line 14 miles north of Interstate 8. The proposal is in response to APS' Request for Proposal for Renewable Resources issued on May 11, 2005. APS will announce a Shortlist on July 14, and will make Selection(s) on Sept. 12, 2005.
